What will the future of professions be like after the pandemic?

There is a popular saying that great ideas are born in the midst of chaos. Although the pandemic is a tragedy, we can say that great solutions have emerged during this time, mainly with the help of technology.

The pandemic has forced many people to change their consumption, work and social habits. As a result, many companies have had to reinvent themselves in order to continue serving their customers without putting their employees at risk.

To prevent life from coming to a complete standstill, measures were taken that, until then, seemed temporary, but as time went by, it seemed more and more that they were here to stay. This is what we now call the “new normal”.

In the topics below we will talk about these changes and the areas of health that are highlighted. Check it out!

Changes that the pandemic brought to the market

2020 and 2021 were years in which new words were introduced into the daily lives of Brazilians. For example, “videoconferencing”, “home office”, “hybrid work”, among others.

As previously mentioned, in the beginning, the feeling was that Brazilians would not adapt to these new work models, however, according to a survey carried out by the telephone network Hey, 78% of the interviewees stated that they were interested in continuing to work in this model after the pandemic. 95% of the managers also stated that they agreed with this practice in the future, even with the hybrid model.

During this research, it was also proven that home office increased workers' productivity. It also reduced costs at fixed workplaces.

The current reality implies that for a company to remain in the market in a healthy way, there is no other way than to reinvent itself. With technology as an ally, of course.
