THE PF contest There is still no published notice, but the federal government has already been asked for authorization to open 734 vacancies for the positions of Administrative Agent and other higher level careers, such as Delegate, Expert, Agent, Clerk and Papiloscopist.

What vacancies will be available in the PF competition?

The vacancies for the competition can possibly be distributed as follows:

• Administrative Agent: 349 vacancies, intermediate level, salary of R$ 4,746.16.
• Delegate: 100 vacancies, higher education in Law, salary of R$ 23,692.74.
• Expert: 100 vacancies, higher education in various areas, salary of R$ 23,692.74.
• Agent: 100 vacancies, higher education in any area, salary of R$ 12,522.50.
• Clerk: 50 vacancies, higher education in any area, salary of R$ 12,522.50.
• Papiloscopist: 35 vacancies, higher education in any area, salary of R$ 12,522.50.

Salaries and benefits?

Salaries are one of the biggest attractions for candidates, as they offer remuneration above the market average. 

In addition, federal police officers are entitled to several benefits, such as food assistance, transportation assistance, daycare assistance, medical and dental assistance, career plan, among others. 

Main stages of a PF competition

THE PF contest It consists of several steps, which include, for example:

– Objective test, of an eliminatory and classificatory nature, with multiple choice questions on general and specific knowledge.

– Written test, of an eliminatory and classificatory nature, with an essay and/or dissertative questions on topics related to the position.

– Physical fitness test, of an eliminatory nature, with pull-up bar, horizontal thrust, swimming and running tests.

– Medical evaluation, of an eliminatory nature, with clinical and laboratory tests.

– Psychological evaluation, of an eliminatory nature, with personality, intelligence and aptitude tests.

– Oral test, of an eliminatory and classificatory nature, only for the position of Delegate, with arguments on legal topics.

– Practical typing test, of an eliminatory nature, only for the position of Clerk, with an assessment of speed and accuracy in typing a text.

– Assessment of qualifications, of a classificatory nature, only for higher level positions, with points for diplomas, certificates and professional experience.

– Social investigation, of an eliminatory nature, with verification of the candidate’s moral, social and professional conduct.

– Professional training course, of an eliminatory and classificatory nature, with theoretical and practical classes on the duties and competencies of the position.
