History

In 1973, the Localiza company, based in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, began operations with Volkswagen Beetle cars. To be more precise, they started with six used and financed Beetles. After some time, it began to expand, opening a branch in the city of Vitória, Espírito Santo.

Currently, it leads in car purchases; in 2022, the fleet grew, with the company purchasing 41,162 vehicles, an increase of 22,300 units.
